Skeuomorphism done right

With all the talk about abandoning skeuomorphism in favour of a flat design, Zoom It is a lesson in skeuomorphism done right. The loupe effect is not simply a magnification of the pixels, but also slightly bulges and darkens the areas under magnification similar to a real loupe. That is the reason I like it so much more than the built-in zoom capability. It feels natural and makes interacting with it much easier. It is a loupe and not some flat area of magnified pixels. This is an excellent app that you will wonder how you got on for so long without it.
