I like your app but one thing is missing : - put the shape (round or rectangular) somewhere on the screen - zoom the mouse zone inside, follow the mouse position and zoom it. Not have the zone under the mouse ( like apple aperture.app zoom in a way ) Thank you

Simple, useful, perfectly integrated to Yosemite … Could be perfect if : 1) You create the option to keep the magnifier in a corner of the screen, because sometimes we need to see the target in normal size. 2) The possibility to create a free rectangular zone to zoom in, as we can see in all classic screenshot App.

Im very thankful for this app, defenitly worth the money! My eyes are often tired, so, without noticing I do lean forward to see some small things better, quite often! So now I can "Zoom It" in and out, fast!

It does what it should: it zooms But it interpolates the pixels which makes it unusable for me. I needed a tool where I can zoom in xcodes storyboard editor for the apple watch (not possible to zoom in there). I have to adjust interface elements pixel wise. therfore I needed this tool. With interpolation however it is not really usable for this purpose and there is no way to change it to point based interpolation. Edit: The tool also has problems with more monitors. if the monitors are not adjusted for the same height there will be an offset to the magnifier.

Sometimes Im reading say an online newspaper article and I cant see much for detail, the zoom laupe definately makes it easier on the eyes. Yeah it doesnt actually show anymore detail, but it beats having to copy something and throwing it into a drawing app just to blow something up to get a better look at it.

Definitely worth the $0.99 price tag. I’ve had this app for a few days now and I find it to be very simple to use and extremely handy to have. It works great in every application I’ve tried including dashboard! This is an excellent application for the price. Cons, No preference setting available to pre-select the destination of screen shots. Default location is the documents folder. New entry, My only con has now been fixed! This is a fantastic app for the price and gets better with every update. It works well and I use it almost every day. I would recomend this application.

Ive been using this app for a long time, and its been a 5-star app until the new update. Unfortunately this update forces my MacBook Pro to use the discrete graphics card, which kills my battery. Ill continue to use it on my Mac mini, but itll have to come off my laptop (which is my main computer). Hopefully this will be changed in the next update.

Great value for price, but could you PLEASE get rid off, or at least give the option to disable the GLARE and the SHADOW on the loupe?

I have this app installed on multiple Mac computers. When the fonts are too small, I just hit control-z. Excellent app!

This is a wonderful product, especally for visually impaired. Since I updated to Sierra its got a NO sign on it. Please fix this ASAP!

I had written that this app was broken with the new release of mac OS 10.12 and that no update activity has happen since 2013. Well, one day later, they’ve released a new upgrade and even added a new snapshot feature. Way to go! Here’s your 5 stars back!

I’ve been a loyal Mac user for over 30 years, and everything I heard about your eyesight going downhill after 50 is TRUE. Unfortunately, even with some good accessibility tools in the OS there are many apps, including the App Store, that do not allow for changing font sizes for those of us who just don’t have that clear sharp vision we used to. It’s frustrating! But, this little app works like a charm! It’s easy to launch and gets out of my way quickly when I don’t need it. The only suggestion I have is to allow changing the shape of the rectangle lens or making a third lens option that is about twice as long as it is high. There are times when I need to read something wide but don’t need the depth when I get the lens up to the right width. Other than that this app is perfect. Also, I’m really impressed with the clarity of the zoomed image even at the highest zoom, which is significant! If you struggle to read tiny words on apps or websites this will save you a boatload of frustration!

The concept and design of this app is really, really good. It’s pretty much perfect for I need. However, it consumes a significant and rapidly increasing amount of memory as soon as the loupe is turned on. After just a couple of minutes of using the loupe, the memory usage can exceed 6 GB. I’m not sure yet whether this is a bug or something it’s doing by design, but it seems unreasonably excessive to me. I see no good reason for this. After playing with it some more to verify details for this review, the memory usage now stands at over 15 GB. I hope this is just a bug that can be easily fixed. As it is, I can’t use it all the time, because it would eventually use up all available memory. My iMac has 32 GB of RAM, and now there’s just over 7.5 GB free. This is not acceptable at all. I feel like I should get my money back, but I really want this thing to work.

This may be the 1st review i this user has written on any of the +100 apps he has purchased over the years. Zoom It gives immediate gratification. It is an intuitive experience. Like it should have always been there on the kb from day 1. I am using it now. Loupe zoom: 150%. Size: 1200 Px. Shape: Rectangle. Easy to access with its kb shortcut “option z.” Option z. 2 keys right next to each at the bottom left of the kb. Thumb or thumb + 1st finger. Simple. Right hand free. Option z = smile. Thank you Zoom It.

Even though as of today you can already zoom your screen by a couple of differnt ways - though I found that app interesting, being a different idea of working around... Thanks!
